This is a Family Friendly event on Moira Lake just 2 km South of the Village of Madoc. on Highway 62. This event is organized and sponsored by The Moira Lake Property Owners Assoc, and the Madoc Lions Club.

There will be 4 cash prizes as follow: Largest Walleye /lbs. (in slot size), Largest Northern Pike /lbs., Hidden Weight /lbs., and Largest Fish /lbs. (for kids 12 and under).

Registration and weigh-in will be located at the Moira Lake Cottages just South of the Village of Madoc on highway 62. Your registration also entitles you to a chance to win one of 9 draw prizes which will be drawn each hour on the hour starting at 8 AM.

You can win and you don’t even need to fish! There will be a 50/50 draw at 4PM, and the Lions Club Food booth serving Hot Chocolate, Peameal on a Bun, Hot Dogs and pop will be available during the event.

There is a registration fee of $10.00 for each participant. All proceeds from this event go towards financing local youth projects. This is a great opportunity to introduce young and old to a great outdoor activity! Hope to see you there.
