31st Annual Free Kids Summer fishing derby for all kids 2-16.
9 weeks of fishing fun. July 1 to August 30/25. Fish anywhere in Ontario. No minimum fish size. Enter as many species as you can find by submitting a picture of the angler with their catch and the official 2025 Kids Summer Derby button.

5 weekly draw prizes for each of the 9 weeks randomly chosen from each week’s entries. 45 weekly prizes in total!
Grand prizes and trophies for overall most species entered and top 3 anglers in each age group. 7 additional grand prize packs and medallions will be randomly chosen from all fish entries in each of the 3 age groups. 31 grand prizes in total!

Every Biggest Catch Story and Fish Art entrant wins a prize. Grand prize and trophy for best overall story and best overall art entry.

Prizes will be presented at Kids Day on Saturday, September 6/25 at the St. Catharines Game & Fish property located at 61 Lighthouse Rd.
Kids Day includes a free in person kids fishing derby for additional prizes and medallions. All kids are welcome to participate in all or any of the events. Lots of free family activities and a free BBQ lunch included. First 300 kids to come by the registration tent on Kids Day will receive a free hat.
