The Osgoode Fish Game and Conservation Club’s Annual Ice Fishing Day aim is to foster a love for nature and outdoor activities. Through this event, we provide the opportunity to learn about fishing techniques, environmental stewardship, and the importance of preserving our natural resources.
Our event will take place on February 15th, 2026, at W.A. Taylor Park in Osgoode, and will include various activities such as fishing, educational learning opportunities and a free lunch included for all. We anticipate a turnout of over 50 participants from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, all eager to participate and learn.

Manotick Bait and Sport will supply minnows. We will share our personal ice fishing gear to those without any or help you with your own.
We have an ice shack, and will have a fire for those that need to warm up.
Please dress warm. Boots are the most important thing to consider. Even though we have a shack it only houses 5 people.

The shack is close to shore but the parking lot may not be cleared of snow.
We moved it to W.A Taylor Conservation Area this year because its more accessible.
