OWA Kayak Fishing, Social and DAS KING Demo Day

Join us on Sunday, July 9 in Orangeville for a fun day on the water and to see/try different models of fishing kayaks from DAS KING!
It’s National Fishing Week so a fishing license is not required for this event.

Island Lake Conservation Area

Arrive:  7:00 a.m. Coffee, doughnuts and muffins provided in the morning.
DAS KING Demo: 8:00 a.m.
Raffle and Trophy Presentations: 3:30 p.m.

Cost: $30 per person
Maximum 35 spots available.
Additional Fee: There is a $7.00 per person admission fee to the conservation area. You can purchase your entry tickets online before the event:

Bring your own:
– Lunch
– Drinks
– Fishing equipment
– Camp chair
– Kayak – There will be four kayaks available to borrow for the day. Please make request at time of registration.

* 2023 paid Ontario Women Anglers and OFAH memberships are required.

Photo Scavenger Hunt Contest
Picture this – an angling scavenger hunt on the waters of Island Lake.!
Protect your phone from a “swim” as we partake in a fun angling day from kayaks at Island Lake and document our day in a fun photo scavenger hunt! Your waterproof list will be provided on the day of the event. Submit your photos in the Facebook group at the end of the event to be entered into an amazing draw for fantastic prizes!

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
