This is our come back event after Covid reduced our ability to register contestants and to meet at the end of the event to celebrate the winners. We did run the event during Covid as a bragging rights derby but we hope too have a good registration for the event.

The derby is open to adults and children of all ages and runs 24 hours a day from July 2nd to July10th with a wrap up dinner and presentations at 4 pm. The club issues a measuring tape when you register and a picture is taken on the tape and emailed to derby@sjiha.ca to be entered in the derby.

Six fish categories: Bass, Pike, Walleye, Salmon/Trout, Perch and Herring (Ciscoe) are open for prizes for the longest fish recorded. Adult and kids prizes are awarded for each category.
