Island Lake Ice Fishing Derby runs the whole month of February. There is both a Regular Derby $35 (12 and up) along with a Child’s Derby $20 (11 and under).

Heated Ice Huts and Ice Fishing Rods are available for rent, hole auguring and live bait is available for purchase.

Weekly Draw prizes

Cash Prizes for Regular Derby:
1st, 2nd, 3rd longest Northern Pike
Longest Yellow Perch
Longest Black Crappie

Prizes for Child Derby:
1st, 2nd, 3rd longest fish

*Admission fees to the Conservation Area are not included in Derby tickets
