Bring out the family to enjoy a traditional ice fishing experience. The Island Lake Ice Fishing Derby will run on February 18 and 19 from 8 am to 6 pm and February 20 from 8 am to 4 pm. Entry is Adults $15, Children $5 (11 and under) plus admission, with great prizes in the following categories: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Longest Northern Pike and 1st Longest Yellow Perch and Black Crappie. Speical kids categories and prizes. Prizes will be awarded at 5 pm on February 20. Open ice fishing only is available, portable huts are permitted. Bait and hole augering are available. On February 20, bring the kids out for special learn to fish opportunities from 10 am to 3 pm.
