Conestogo Lake Conservation Area will be hosting their Annual Catch & Release Fishing Derby on Saturday July 22, 2023 from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

The event is open to all ages and registration for the derby is $5.00, regular park admission fees apply. Registration is from 7 until 9 a.m. at the boat launch and all participants must receive a derby participant card.

Prizes for largest Bass, Pike and Catfish, along with draw prizes thanks to local businesses.

$5 Big fish pool split 50/50 between largest Bass & Pike

Catch and release only event. Participants with entries must return to Registration desk before 2:30 p.m. with a picture of your fish including a tape measure showing the length of the fish from tip of nose to tip of tail, along with the derby participant card in the photo and a video of the live release. Both the photo and video’s date and timestamp will be inspected.
