Catch For A Cure is a one day family fun event that raises money and awareness for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Canada. At our event we will have face painting, raffles, door prizes, games, bouncy castle,a BBQ, special guests, clowns, groomed beaches, a 70 foot wooden pirate ship playground that is handicap accesible and a splash pad.

There is a scavenger hunt for the children to find answers about Leukemia and invasive species with a prize awarded to one participant whom gets all the rights answers (awarded by draw with all questions answered properly). There will be a visit from the coast guard for the kids and hopefully the O.P.P and the Firestation.

On top of fun we teach children about invasive species and care of our lakes, we all work towards turning out the enviromentally friendly anglers of tommorrow.There will be 5 main prizes in the fishing event. Largest caught for ages 2-6yrs, 7-15yrs and 16yrs to adult. There are 2 other prizes for most caught in the junior and intermediate levels.
