Join the Ontario Women Anglers on July 11 from 8:00 am – 12:00 noon at the Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville for a morning of great fishing. http://www.creditvalleyca.ca/enjoy-the-outdoors/conservation-areas/island-lake-conservation-area/
Bring your own rod or borrow one of ours. Worms will be provided and minnows can be bought at the park bait & tackle shop.
The event is free but there is a small admission fee to the park. Lots of other activities to do at Island Lake too…hiking, boating, swimming and much more. Bring a picnic lunch and meet other female anglers. Lots of volunteers to help out too! Women teaching women.
Space is limited so pre-registration is required. To register or to download the event flyer, go to the Events page at http://www.fishing101forwomen.ca
There will be lots of draw prizes with proceeds going to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation.
