Family Fishing Event, No Fishing Licence Required!

This annual event supports the South Frontenac, Portland District Fire Department Association. We use funds raised from the derby for equipment purchases and emergency preparedness in our district of South Frontenac Township.

Fish any back lake. Weigh-in starts at 9am, ends at 5pm at the Hartington Fire Hall, 4808 Holleford Road.

The propane BBQ from Trousdales’s Home Hardware is a draw prize, so even if you don’t catch a big one you could still win!

We also have a kids division and there are always TONS of prizes for kids with the grand prize of a bike from The Pizza Place in Harrowsmith.

Come out for a fun day of fishing to support your local fire service! Grab some lunch at our BBQ and if you don’t have much luck on the lake you can always better your odds with our 50/50 draw!
