Two day catch & release derby hosted by the Friends of Island Lake as a fundraiser for Island Lake Conservation Area. More than $5000 in Cash Prizes!

Tournament will take place on Saturday, July 9 from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 10 from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Early Bird Registration until June 10th (2 prizes of $225!)

Two categories:

Regular (ages 12+)
Child (ages 11 and under)

Prizes:

Regular (ages 12+): Prizes will be awarded to the registered participant catching the fish that has the highest combined score that includes weight (in grams) and length (in millimetres)

1st place Bass: $2500 cash
2nd place Bass: $1000 cash
3rd place Bass $500
and more…
Child (11 & under) daily trophies for first place: Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Pumpkinseed and Rock Bass. All children will recieve a particpation ribbon.

Fishing license is not required, it’s Ontario Family Fishing Weekend! Conservation limits apply.

Camping:

Camping is available for the nights of Friday July 8th and Saturday July 9th. Cost is a flat fee of $25 that includes both nigths. 10 Camper/RV sites and 25 tenting sites are available.

By reserving a camping site I am aware:

No alcohol onsite
No showers available
Shared fire pit area
2 tents and a picnic tables
Radio free
Site selection based on first come first served
Registration: 4pm until 8:30pm each day
Max. 6 people per site
Must be 18+ to reserve a site
Someone 18+ must be staying at site
