The event is a collaborative effort by the Wollaston Lake Home and Cottage Association (WLHCA) and North Hastings Community Fish Hatchery (NHCFH). Participants will snowshoe through the park to Urbach lake which is a small Put-Grow-Take lake stocked semi-annually with Splake by the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Parking is at Nellie Lunn park. Rides for participants not able to snowshoe can be arranged. Refreshments and food will be provided. There will be fishing gear and bait available for participants. Prizes will be awarded. The cost of the event is by donation and 50/50 draw tickets will be available.
