The Kids Fishing Derby is an annual event organized by the Osgoode Township Fish, Game and Conservation Club with the aim of fostering a love for nature, outdoor activities, and conservation among children aged 6 to 14. Through this event, we provide children with the opportunity to learn about fishing techniques, environmental stewardship, and the importance of preserving our natural resources.

Our event will take place on July 5th, 2025, at Taylor Park in Osgoode, and will include various activities such as fishing educational learning opportunities and a free lunch included for all. We anticipate a turnout of over 100+ children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, all eager to participate and learn. Each Child will take home with them either a rod & reel, fishing net or tackle box.
